Prospective graduate students interested in our lab are encouraged to apply to Emory’s PhD program via the Chemistry Department graduate program page.
We are looking for two postdoctoral fellows to work on projects at the boundary of multireference electronic structure theory, quantum computing, and machine learning. Candidates with a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, and materials science are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have experience with programming and method development. However, previous knowledge of quantum computing and machine learning, although desirable, is not required. As a research group, we strive to create a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive environment for research. Therefore, we encourage applications from women and underrepresented minorities.
Applications for these positions should contact me directly at francesco.evangelista<at>emory.edu and send the following information:
1) a CV
2) a short cover letter describing research interests and past work
3) the names of two potential reference letter writers
Application review will start immediately and continue until both positions are filled.
